Demotivational determinants of primary school students learning activities from the perspective of their parents

The article reveals the results of study peculiarities understanding by parents primary school students determinants negative-motives children's learning activity, which along with positive motives determine child's general attitude to and are extremely understudied in domestic foreign psychology. A questionnaire was used collect empirical data; sample consisted 252 whose children schools various types from first fourth grades. were processed interpreted using content analysis, ranking, χ2 Pearson criterion, comparative analysis our previous studies conducted on teachers groups. leading determinant demotivation for activities students, according parents, is complexity educational programme, second third ranking being fond or misuse gadgets hobbies. totality demotivational activity parents' point view differentiated into groups personal-social conditions. It found that largest group negative-motivation opinion defined deficiencies professionalism teacher, as well his personal characteristics. This demonstrates modern very particular about teachers’ professional activities, also indicates reduce their own responsibility development academic motivation, insufficient psychological competence parents. most significant a set characteristics teachers' - content-related aspects education students. low criticality family factors possible recorded. perceptions pedagogical and/or importance number statistically significantly different position rest allowed us organizational necessary developmental work improve field motivation personality, reduction activity.
